Oil and Gas Supplier Forum

Download the Working Group 6 Membership List (PDF 513.1 KB)

The Oil and Gas Supplier Forum was established in 2014 with the inaugural meeting on 22 October 2014. The Forum assists in developing South Australian capability in the oil and gas supply chain and driving down the cost curve for the development of oil and gas resources by educating suppliers about the oil and gas industry, providing information on opportunities for South Australian businesses to invest in, connecting them with oil and gas operators and assisting suppliers to diversify into this sector.

An important aspect of being a supplier is targeting the right tier level in the supply chain with your goods and services. A Tier 1 company supplies goods and services directly to oil and gas Exploration and Production (E&P) companies, while a Tier 2 company supplies to a Tier 2 company and so on. A key function of the Oil and Gas Supplier Forum is to assist suppliers to understand which tier level to target, and providing an opportunity to connect with relevant customers.

The breakdown of the oil and gas supply chain (PDF 52KB) developed for the Oil and Gas Supplier Forum may assist you to identify opportunities for your business in the oil and gas industry.
