Policy for well logging and sample programs
Infill and development wells
Where the agreed open hole logging program could not be achieved after at least 2 attempts over the target zones, a PDK-100 (thermal neutron) log will be run after casing has been set.
A minimum CBL-GR log may be accepted in such wells without the necessity to acquire open hole logs or PDK-100, provided there is good well control from nearby wells.
Minimum washed cuttings sample to be submitted to DPCis 200g per interval.
Core and cuttings to be submitted to DPC as specified in Petroleum Core and Cuttings Submission Form including the guidelines (PDF 146 KB)
Exploration wells
As above for cased hole logging, but if the well is to abandoned, at least 3 attempts to acquire logs must be made.
Minimum washed cuttiings to be submitted to DPC as specified in Petroleum Core and Cuttings Submission Form including the guidelines (PDF 146 KB).
